Economic Development/Government Affairs
This combined committee develops and implements a plan of action to assist in the development and retention of new business and industries; to promote activities to create a stable and healthy economy; promotes a liaison with government and elected officials to present our issues and interests.

Evaluates and support endorsed candidates for State and County offices.

Social and Cultural
Coordinates social and cultural activities to encourage fellowship and networking among our members; General Membership meetings, Goji-Kara activities and the annual Installation Reception.

Education
This committee plans and coordinates appropriate variety of educational activities within the community; supports the Department of Education, Hawaii Community College and University of Hawaii at Hilo. Plans informative workshops with up-dates to keep the membership knowledgeable of current matters.
